Description
The car failed its MOT on January 27th, primarily on the emissions/exhaust system plus some lighting, brakes and horn issues. It also needs a new tyre.
Additional advisories on the MOT are a coolant leak, an oil leak (not excessive), and a suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement
The car is currently in the repair garage where it was being worked on prior to the MOT.
The engine starts and runs OK, but part of the exhaust system is currently removed, so it's growling a bit. It is also emitting a lot of blue smoke when revved at 3000 RPM, as the MOT test requires for the emissions check.
This car would be ideal for a TT MK1 enthusiast. It needs some work doing, but the body work is in very good condition.
It has factory AVUS Silver Paint, a factory 6 CD Autochanger and a BOSE sound system as original extras (original 2003 dealer bill of sale included)
The service booklet shows all services from new in 2003 to 109,000 miles in 2022.
I inherited the car from my son who bought another, rare model TT, and we have no room to store this car.
