Proper good car. Perfect for someone looking for a project car with a solid engine at the heart. Engine overhaul around 83000 miles, it has been fitted with 86mm Wiseco forged pistons and ROSS SPORT H-beam rod kit. The kit included ARP head studs and ACL big end bearing. All timing components are new and uprated(new spec chain). Since owning the car, I made sure to maintain it to a high standard as much as possible, engine oil/ filter checked and replaced between 500 - 1000 miles interval with 5W30 A5, thinner viscosity due to forged components. AYC is still working, not too corroded, I know this is a main concern for this vehicle. The vehicle is mechanically sound, 12 month MOT, replaced both track rod ends recently. Pirelli tyres with around 4 mil of treads. Pads and Discs around 50% worn with slight lip on the discs. No damage to the alloys. Future project(s) to look forward to with this car is obviously THE PAINT!. I bought the car because it was a lovely shade of purple but it wasn't done professionally and you can tell when looking at it in person. But cosmetic was the bottom of the list. Personally I would tackle the Gearbox/ Clutch pack next. It jolts when pulling away from stationary, annoying in start/stop traffic. However, put it in sport mode and it is as smooth as butter. This car drives so well at higher rpm 4000+. 3" Cobra exhaust, very pleasent and not too loud. Don't hesitate to contact me if you require more information. I will consider a reasonable offer.
