Description
This Toyota Prius (2011) was first registered in Japan and imported to UK in 2023. It's 1.8ltr. It is used daily for a short commute, so mileage isn't likely to climb much higher despite daily use. It's been a great family car, has ISOFIX points and a decent sized boot. Aside from a couple of advisories (will give details to those who view the car), it is MOT'd until Nov 2025 and mechanically in a decent condition. It had two new tyres at the front in Nov. As I'm sure you're aware, fuel economy is is a strong selling feature of these cars, helped by the self-charging hybrid engine. Having said that, pop it into PWR mode and it'll fly along. It is ULEZ compliant.
The body work has a few age related scuffs and marks but isn't really "dented". There is an abundance of cup-holders and little storage nooks and crannies. There are some clever little features for driver convenience such as headlight washers and a couple of little lights in the car to make finding buttons at night easier. A personal favorite, the sun-glasses tray which folds away by the interior lights. There are rubber mats throughout to protect the carpeting, which is quite hard-wearing. There are also detachable mats in the rear foot-wells.
The head-unit, which came with the car when I bought it is android powered and has two USB connectors. I will say as a "con" the head unit is quite cheap and while it does work, if you enjoy car media this might be something you would choose to upgrade. When connected to a hot-spot, it plays Youtube, BBC Sounds and various other media apps adequately.
In the interest of full transparency, it has a very sensitive stability alarm, which will activate when cornering too quickly on an uneven road. I've had three separate garages check it and all have said there is no fault.
Reason for sale is simply that we have two cars and only need one. This is the older of the two. Will happily provide any further details or images. Sensible offers only please.
