Description
Range Rover Westminster L322 4.4D V8 first reg Apr 2012. One of the last of this shape and one of the best examples still on the road in 2025, some say this is the best Range Rover and everything since has been more about luxury and appealing to a different market than the original core Range Rover market and indeed what a Range Rover stood for way back in the early 1970's when the idea of a 4x4 'car' was born. This particular vehicle has black metallic paint over a sumptuous cream leather interior complimented by deep pile black floor carpets and mats. The car has the best diesel engine JLR ever fitted to a Range Rover, the 4.4D V8 that effortlessly takes care of you what ever the situation. Pushing a mighty 300+ BHP you really can enjoy cruising or the country lanes knowing you will get circa 32-35mpg, and when cruising the motorways at 70, the engine is hardly moving at around 1600rpm, all helped by the wonderful ZF 8 speed auto gearbox. It was this engine that went on to power the L405 models for many years until finally being dropped in favour of Hybrid options. The car has wanted for nothing during my long 8 years of ownership which is proven by a history file that comes with this car. This history included tyres, batteries, small additional purchases for the vehicle over the years. The main history includes things such as an engine oil change every 6 months regardless of miles done, and additional full services when the car requires. The Gearbox oil has been changed, the front air suspension bangs replaced in the last 3 years, the air con pump and condenser was also replaced in recent years, assuring a perfect cabin environment in all weathers. In 2023 the car went through a full re-bushing of the suspension with many associated components also being replaced. New brake pads and disks were also fitted. Other things done during my ownership include, oil pump, fuel filter and housing, all belts, brake pipes, and many other jobs, small or large as they became necessary. Even as recently as January when I had the EGR Valve sorted along with that Fuel Filter housing replaced, this alone was 1000 pounds worth of work. The car has been valeted monthly to keep it up together and yeah its got age related marks and some patina on the leather drivers seat but in general is a very clean and beautiful example. If you check the MOT history you will discover very few advisories with none on the last two. She will come with a full years MOT.
