Car runs lovley but selling as spares or repair due to issues mentioned below, car is on 178k miles and I've owned it for 5 years working as a private hire driver. I've looked after the car very well including recent repairs 10 months ago which included timing belt, water pump, new clutch and new alternator costing 1500. The car has been extensively serviced at 11,248 vw 18320. Vw 27708 independent 36807 independent 47484 independent 57716 independent 67189 independent 76811 independent 86253 independent (timing belt) 98572 myself 112093 myself 127153 myself 138380 myself 155397 myself 158185 timing belt, clutch, alternator independent 169758 myself Car has passed its taxi compliance test for Sefton 5 weeks ago and is still plated until July. drives perfectly but for the 2 issues mentioned below Selling as spares or repairs, 2 issues, first being the DPF light comes on if I'm driving around town a lot, it clears itself when I do a couple of junctions of the motorway so it will need replacing or deleting. Code P2458 has came up which indicates a problem with the duration of a DPF regeneration. When this came on there was excessive smoke coming from the exhaust so I drove home, the next day it was back to running normal. Running perfectly with zero emissions. I've added a video a of the engine running with the clear emissions. I took this the day after the DPF code came up. I cleared that code and it didn't came back on. Although the DPF light will occasionally come on but clears itself when I do a run. So definitely an issue with the DPF. Second is the throttle pedal position sensor engine management light has recently came on, P0122 I have cleared that and it has not came back on but I would change that if I was buying the car as it is an easy fix. This car has only weeks ago passed its sefton council mechanical fitness test which is more thorough than an M.O.T. and that is valid until July. Road tax 30 per year. 4 good tyres
