It is with a heavy heart that I am selling my beloved Polo BlueGT. This is because I recently started a job with a company car so I no longer drive this car anymore. You'll see from the photos she has been my pride and joy for the last 6 years so the condition is exceptional for the age and mileage. Speaking of mileage the car has spent most of its life cruising up and down the M6 so the actual wear and tear on the mechanics has been fairly minimal. I always refer to this car as undoubtedly the best car I will ever own as she has taken me literally everywhere and never once let me down or even missed a beat. This is partially down to the fact the car has a full VW maintenance record. The cambelt and water pump were changed in May 2022 in line with the previous VW standards. Other than that I've only had to replace one shock absorber, one lower engine mount, a pair of subframe bushes and the battery which was done very recently. Also recently is the Service and MOT completed on 13th February with no advisories. The Tyres are also sound with DX640's on the rear axle showing 5mm across and Potenza's on the front axle with around 6mm across. You'll notice this Polo is tastefully modified to give it GTI performance while still maintaining the incredible fuel economy of the BlueGT. These modifications include a RacingLine Stage 1 remap providing 175bhp but more noticeably 235 ft lbs of torque. Also you'll notice a Milltek cat-back non-resonated exhaust system which gives a nice exhaust note without being anti-social. The last performance enhancing modification is a set of Eibach lowering springs which give much sharper handling while still maintaining decent ride quality. My plan was always to create an R WRC replica hence the WRC decals but I ended up buying other cars which drained my wallet instead!
