Registered 8/10/2010 Current mileage 116633 Engine change MOT 22/10/25 This 2010 Volkswagen Caravelle Colorado was purchased new by my late father, it's only owner, from VW In September 2010. It was then sent to GM Coachworks, one of the uk's leading vehicle adapters, to be adapted for disabled use. The outcome was a vehicle that could, if required, be driven from a wheel chair which could access the vehicle via the lift on the passenger side sliding door, but still transport four passengers in comfort. Furthermore, if one didn't wish to use the lift or have a power chair onboard, it had space for either a table set (supplied with the vehicle) or an additional pair of chairs as per a standard Caravelle. Since then, the vehicle has been in continued familial ownership and maintained regardless of expense. The majority of its work has been for longer journeys and it regularly made journeys across the continent to Norway, Germany and France and across the Uk. The aforementioned maintenance include in 2022 at 105,000 miles, a brand new engine being fitted complete with the most up to date ancillary parts including upgraded DPF, intercooler and new turbo at a cost over 10,000 to ensure the vehicle continued to serve its purpose for the remainder of its owners life. Sadly he passed away in the late summer of 2024 and as a result, the vehicle now finds itself surplus to requirements. It can also be sold with the power chair that it was originally designed to be used with if required.
