Sadly the time has come to sell my 1958 Landrover series 1 88" 2.0 Petrol that I bought 3 or so years ago. I don't have enough time for it with work and family life, and the value is better invested in making a better life for my baby daughter. It runs and moves under its own power, but is currently SORN. Previous owner had it for 40 years, but it hadn't run for 20 years or so and lived under a tarp. There is a written story of its history that the previous owner wrote. Engine was rebuilt 20 years ago but it didn't run until I bought it a couple of years ago. Loads of spare bits I bought to complete it such as front prop shaft, electrical bits, new wiring loom, brake pipes and cylinders. Has all original ownership paperwork from 1958 and has a current V5. I have original parts and service manuals for it, and repro owners manual which has been a massive help in the work I've done to it. All weather cover. 9443miles on speedo but I think more likely 40k as another speedo in parts shows 32k. Bit of surface rust underneath. Had a new bulkhead fitted 20 odd years ago. Rad has a small leak and it currently doesn't charge despite a new dynamo. I've kept all the parts I have replaced just in case. It won't take much to get it road worthy again, but I just don't have the time anymore. No MOT required. Very few owners considering age. I'm happy to answer any questions.
