Description

1980 LOCOST 7 1.6 FORD CROSSFLOW REGISTRATION NO: VRH 738W More Information Manufacturer: Locost 7 Model: 1.6 Ford Crossflow First Registered: 2005 Registration No: VRH 738W Mileage: 66,500 Chassis No: GHD04L07CK196898J MOT: Comes with new MOT Colour: Yellow A fabulous Locost 7 based on a 1.6 Ford Crossflow, in bright yellow. The car starts and drives superbly, and is fantastic fun with amazing handling, thanks to the AVO coilover suspension and tubular wishbones. GCK Engineering originally built the car to an exacting standard, and features the bulletproof 1.6 Crossflow engine alongside a 4 branch manifold, Ramair filter, Facet fuel pump, oil catch tank, and a large front mounted remote oil cooler, all sitting on poly engine mounts to keep all that power in check! There are also new front brake calipers, and recent 195/50/15 sports tyres wrapped around gloss black 5-spoke alloys, if it all gets a bit too much! Inside has been given the full treatment too with a pair of lightweight race seats in gloss black with matching yellow 4 point racing harnesses, roll bar, passenger footrest, sports steering wheel, adjustable brake bias valve and matching alloy handbrake lever and gearknob. There's RS dials on the dash with secondary auxillary gauges to keep everything in touch. Just in front of the dash sits a carbon effect aeroscreen, but fear not, if you don't want to look like Jeremy Clarkson catching flies in an Ariel Atom, there's an optional windscreen and wipers for those Sunday drives too. Couple all that with a heater, radio and carpets throughout, it's actually a pleasant place to be. There's also a battery cut-off and even a plumbed in fire extinguisher just in case, just don't mistake it for the choke! Other spares include some cycle wings/arches in yellow and K&N chrome filter. All in all, a fantastic-looking 'yellow peril' with gloss black accents and amazing fun to drive. Fully road-legal and ready for new adventures.
