Selling my late Uncle's Pride & Joy, as my Auntie does not drive. A very genuine and near standard E34 540i Auto, with Shadow-Line pack/M-Sports suspension and M-Sport steering wheel. This was Uncle Dave's retirement gift to himself in 2001, he cleaned it at least weekly, avoided taking it out in the rain, and if he did, he used to blow dry it before tucking it to bed in it's garage (I'm not exaggerating). Whilst "ERU" has done just under 170k you wouldn't know it. It has immaculate replica Alpina wheels with good Toyo Proxes all round and a reproduction AC Schnitzer pedal set, but is otherwise very original, including full BMW black leather interior, electric lift and slide sunroof, fine wood trim, driver's armrest, an unused spare, immaculate boot area, full tool kit etc. A comprehensive book of service history, including many BMW Dealer stamps and some independent specialists too. It has a recent MOT, October 2025. It is as far as I know original in terms of paint and remarkable for a 30 year old car. Dave used to valet every square inch of the car and it shows. A really excellent base for someone looking for the last bastion of well-made BMWs, that said there are a few little bits to tinker with. The front jacking points will need some attention, as they almost always do, the driver's seat needs some attention as one of the switches is not working and there is a small oil leak (likely valve cover gasket). But, otherwise drives very well and when it was out, was very often admired at the petrol forecourt. The car is still garaged in Bristol, with all paperwork and history available for inspection.
