Description

I purchased this lovely car in November 2021 when it had done 60,000 documented miles. Since then I have added an additional 10,000 miles. As a member of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club I have displayed the car in club and open displays all over the south of England. The car is finished in Platinum Silver with Grey leather seats and upholstery. The dash is very unusual in that it is greyed burr walnut as opposed to the more common brown finish. It has a grey leather Tonneau Cover for when the hood is down. I have had a draft excluder fitted to prevent the wind curling round back into the car so open top motoring is a more pleasant experience for the ladies. The bodywork is in tip top condition with no stone chips to the nose and no rust in the sills. It is highly polished and looks stunning. The road wheels are 19" "Apollo" alloys with plenty of tread left on the tyres. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition with no faults showing on an OBD 2 Code reader. The log book shows that the car has had 8 previous owners, I do not understand this as the service history does not support this so I am unclear as to how the DVLC have come up with this figure. I have the original Total Care Handbook that shows the date of sale when new and 14 service stamps by Jaguar Distributors, dealers and specialists and all the service records and invoices right up to date. The MOT is not due until August of this year and from the results of last years MOT I do not expect any problems. The car has totaled 70,258 miles, only 57 miles since the last MOT. The underneath of the car has been cleaned and wax oiled to prevent rusting. Included in the sale are two complete car covers, one blue internal cover and one external cover. There is also a half cover that just covers the soft top and windows, this is grey to match the colour of the car. A new battery was fitted last year and whilst being stored a trickle charger has been used so no starting or electrical problems. The CD changer in the boot works well and I have the codes for the radio and the security wheel nuts. All in all anyone wishing to own a bit of Jaguar history this is the perfect buy and investment. These cars can only increase in value as they are so cheap right now. My asking price is well below the prices being asked in the specialist club magazine as I wish for a quick sale. My reason for the sale of this car is that I have purchased an XKR and I do not have the space to store both cars.
