I have for sale my MGB Roadster called 'Nell'. She is a truly wonderful English classic with original features throughout. She is an honest car with complete service and MOT history since being built in 1972, authenticating her 73,351 miles. The history file comes with the car, inclusive of invoices for all works carried out. She is MOT exempt now, but I have always had her checked over every few months to ensure she is performing at her best. In old English white, she was re-sprayed in recent years, although there is now some minor chips to the door edge etc,. but no obvious rust, and as you can see from the photographs, she gleams beautifully. She has had a new hood, and comes complete with a separate canopy for using when the roof is down. She also had a luggage rack, for the days when only a picnic hamper and a jaunt out in the countryside will do. She has been lovingly looked after, with one owner (Mr Cockburn) owning her for 35 years. She has had only a handful of careful owners who have cherished her and kept her maintained. In my ownership she has been cared for and expertly maintained by Cotswold Classic Car Restorations who have kept her roadworthy and in tip top mechanical condition, carrying out any necessary works that have included: Newly skimmed and re-faced flywheel New clutch & new clutch slave cylinder New battery and re-fitted terminals New gear plate and gearbox mountings New heater matrix New starter motor New bonnet pull Nell is head turning car with a roaring engine. She is extremely solid and comfortable with an excellent body underneath - she starts on the button due to a cleverly installed battery kill switch, and she is capable of long journeys... she is ready for adventure! I adore Nell. She is a fabulous classic car that wants and needs to be driven. I have had the pleasure of driving many classics over the years, but none quite have the charm or comfort of Nell. You really feel like you could take on the world when you are in the driving seat. Very few cars of this age can perform at her level without having had significant re-builds. This MG is a usable and enjoyable everyday classic car in her original and thoroughly maintained condition - with the documentation to back it up! Nell is listed for sale for a short period only, after which she will be heading to auction.
