Description

I bought this Mercedes A180 as my first car, in 2018. It's been an absolutely fantastic car and since then I've done a good 80,000 miles in it. Would suit first time car buyers, someone who wants a runaround or those who are looking for a great all-round car for themselves. I kept promising to myself that I'd only replace it once I'd run it into the ground, but it just kept on going for years and years - so now after nearly 7 years I've finally relented and bought a newer model. With a 2L diesel engine (big for its size) it's more than happy doing long motorway drives - the fact it's still in great condition even with such mileage is a testament to how it's built. I'd describe this A180 as an absolute workhorse. Underneath it all is a beautiful Mercedes engine with the best and most responsive automatic gearbox I've ever driven. It does have some minor dings which you'd expect from a car this age - but it's been really well cared for overall. I've just had it fully valeted and detailed inside and out, and it's looking in great condition! ~ Full valet clean March 2025 ~ MOT until Dec 2025 ~ Last serviced Dec 2024 ~ New front tyres Jan 2025 ~ New battery Feb 2025 ~ Two key fobs ~ Keyless locking ~ Multi CD player ~ Cruise control ~ Bluetooth phone connection ~ Electric front windows ~ 1.8L engine WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR ~ Extremely comfortable to drive ~ Small enough to nip around, but built so solidly that it handles long journeys with ease - I frequently do 200+ mile trips. ~ Loads of room with back seats down: I've moved house with this car many times ~ Really comfortable for passengers too ~ GREAT for taller drivers and passengers as you're seated higher up, so it's easier to get in and out of You'll see on the MOT checker on gov.uk that it does have some advisories, but my garage don't think these will develop - they are really minor and you'll not need to get these addressed for years. I genuinely think that this car will last for at least another 5 or even 10 years, if not more.
