Selling my beloved 740i active hybrid due to being made redundant. If you know these cars, you'll know how solid their engines are. Before my redundancy had a ton of work done to the car as I had planned to keep her for a very long time. Some of the work done includes; timing chain (with a warranty), both vanos changes, oil housing filter, rear strut, rear two suspension airbags, suspension calibration, tracking, software update by Jo Darby, etc. in terms of maintenance I've had the oil and filter changed every 5000 miles and the car comes with a full service history. Recently the handbrake has stopped working, which is the only thing left to do on the car. MOT due in October. This car was my commuting car between London and Birmingham, hence the miles, it's also ten years old so naturally you'll find some wear and tear. I had the alloys refurbed a year ago, one of the front alloys is peeling slightly which I can get refurbished before sale. Mot has always come out clean and work done on the car has been out of precaution rather than reaction. Aside from the handbrake I've never had a fault with her.
