The paintwork has been MB StarGard treated, and is in very good condition, as you would expect. It has had six owners not seven (I sold it in 2021, then bought it back a year later). Full service history - services at 12K, 15K, 20K, 27K, 33K, 38K, 43K (all Main Dealer), then MB Independent Specialist (Wyne Gates) at 53K and 60K miles. New MoT. It's due an A service now, on time if not mileage - only 3K since last one (a B service). The upholstery is semi-aniline Nappa leather, but not the black it came out of the factory with; I don't care for black interiors, so I had it swapped over with the CLS SB I had before this. It lost dynamic front seats, but gained multi-contour heated and ventilated ones, and Harman Kardon speakers in the door cards. It's a rare colour combination; I've only seen one other in red with this interior, and none in the metal. With the ice blue ambient lighting, it looks superbly classy at night. The nearside front wheel has minor kerbing; see the two pictures (same wheel). The rest are pristine. There are three spare new MB ignition coils; it hasn't needed any, and it's never missed a beat in my ownership, but they were for sale cheaply, so I bought them, just in case... I've also had the intercooler pump replaced; an intermittent fault there caused a misfire which led to a very expensive repair on an E-class with the same engine on 83K miles, so again, just in case... I'm selling it because I've bought an ML63; age and infirmity (knackered knees) make an SUV much easier to get in and out of. The ML is pretty quick; the CLS is in another league entirely, and that's in Comfort; I've never used Sport or Sport Plus, let alone Race Start. I'm open to offers, of course, but I think it's already quite fairly priced, so please don't be silly... Cash or (preferably) bank transfer please, no swaps, and no test pilots. One viewer at a time; if you bring a mate with a little bottle of oil to put in the coolant header tank and another to put up the exhaust, I've had that tried before, so he'll not get the chance. Just saying; again, just in case... Any questions, just ask; I won't bite. That's about it, really; if you want one in black/white/Fifty Shades of Grey with a black interior, good luck to you, but I prefer something that stands out from the crowd. This car does.
