Description
1992 MK2 Scirocco, owned for 5 years. Converted to K-Jet by a previous owner. Showing its age, but very usable and amazing fun. I can get between 30 and 40 mpg comfortably. Equally happy driving on back lanes and sitting at 70 mph on motorways. Open to negotiation. Can deliver for fuel and return train ticket.
Can be slow to start in the cold, but something you get used to. Once started and warmed up (or in summer) car drives and pulls really nicely. The car would benefit from being garaged over winter.
Showing its age, paint is as to be expected, with some dents and stone chips.
As seen in the pictures, there are some tears to the headlining. The drivers seat padding is starting to go and there is a small rip. The dent to the bonnet was from a previous owner, easy to fix if desired, I like the added character. Rear bumper plastic is bent (see pictures), steel support is straight. Fitted with OEM roof bars (quite rare in their own right) and aftermarket fog lights.
