Description

For sale is my Toyota Celica GT with the full factory fitted TRD styling kit finished in the sought after Thunder Grey colour. This is one of only 788 ever made in the UK and a rare 56 plate. Completely unmodified and super low mileage for a vehicle this age with less than 59,500 on the clock. It even has the original Toyota 6 disc changer and cassette unit. Never skips a beat, handles well and sounds/feels amazing when the VVTL-I engine lift kicks in at 6,200 RPM (never gets old). The car has been very well maintained during my ownership, with a recent MOT/Service in Feb 25. It comes with plenty of receipts for all the work I have had done to keep it running smoothly. This was mainly when I first took ownership as there was issues with the brakes, fuel tank, rear suspension and fan belt. However now all those components have been replaced with new parts, it runs fantastic and problem free. I have had the following work completed: .New brake discs and pads all round .Both rear brake callipers, hoses, ABS sensors and hand brake shoes replaced .New window wipers all round .New rear suspension coil springs and struts on both sides .New fuel tank and neck filler pipe .New number plates front and rear .New battery .New air con compressor, fan belt, and water pump .New clutch In addition, a couple years back there was corrosion found during an MOT which resulted in it failing but was mainly located on the outer sills under the side skirts which is typical for Celica's of this age. Therefore my local garage recommended me to a welding specialist company that does all their car welding. They manufactured and fitted 2 new outer sills 1.5mm plates, repaired the off side front and rear floor, off side as well as near side rear inner wheel arches. All the welded plates were seam welded and all repairs were done with 1.5mm mild steel plate which is thicker than the original metal, which has helped preserve the car for the future. The car comes with its original leather wallet and Toyota manuals, 2 keys and 1 master key, however please note there is no spare wheel as this was missing when I took ownership of the car. The car is in fantastic condition inside and out. There is some slight wear on the leather of the drivers seat as seen in the photos. The alloys do have scuffs and marks on them and would benefit from a respray. I have owned multiple Celica's and this has been my favourite which I will be very sad to see go, as it is a real pleasure to drive.
