Have owned the car since Feb 2021. It is our family car that has done us very well over the past 4 years. It has been regularly serviced and comes completed with FSH, its book is stamped. Recently (on top of it's service) it has 4 new sets of Bridgestone tires. Sailed through it's MOTs - it's a Suzuki so of course it would. Has been used mainly for the commute in and out of town most days, and the occasional trip around- so it's had a good variety of use to keep any issues from developing. It has a driving mode 'twizzle' that allows you to select what sort of car you want it to be - when it's in sports mode it really is a different car. Twizzle it back into Auto and everything slows down to normal driving mode. Keep on twizzling and it goes into the different terrain modes - it does have LOCK to allow for All Wheel Drive (I have not been rallying or anything silly, this AWD ability helps in the winter - one year I easily drove past two stuck German cars). On top of that, the car is reliable, can be put into sports mode if you want to, cruises happily along the motorways with it's cruise control. I brought the car knowing that our baby was on it's way, part of the reason I got it is it's 5 star safety review! 5 Stars. Modern SUV's don't even had 5 stars. This is what CarMagazine said about it: "It's a modern, efficient engine that gets a lot from a little, and delivers it when and where you need it: it's responsive and lively, pulls well from low revs and is smooth however hard you push it. Its efficiency manifests itself in impressive fuel figures: in several days with the Vitara S, we weren't far short of the official combined figure of 52.3mpg for the six-speed manual.
