Description

This is a Kia Sorento CRDi XS, a four-wheel-drive car with a 2.5-litre diesel engine, first registered in 2009. This XS trim model has leather as standard, electric windows and sunroof, heated seats, cruise control and folding mirrors. Recent work undertaken is 4 x new discs and brake pads, as well as new handbrake shoes and 2 x new front dampers. Brand new front prop shaft and an almost brand new turbo fitted 1-week ago (turbo was on a previous Sorento which I owned) as well as a recent full service. Real deep tyre tread on all four tyres, also has a spare wheel fitted underneath. Lanoguard treated on 14 July 2024, no advisories on last MOT, runs very well, only reason I am selling it is because we no longer tow our horses anywhere, having towed about 10 times since I owned the vehicle. Tow bar and electrics work fine. MOT until 22 September 2025. Honesty Box - AC doesn't work, probably needs regassing, I have never had a need for it, the windows and sunroof have met my needs when driving, that said, the automatic temperature control works well enough. Offers - Yes, I will consider a decent offer, but please be mindful that the work conducted on this vehicle is all the expensive things that had to be replaced so you will drive hassle free for years to come and it does drive very well. I will also throw-in the expensive seat covers I bought. Stop press - Urgent. I gave it a good clean today and some tinkering underneath with the Lanoguard spray, I noticed that the nearside metal bracket that attaches the rear axle to the chassis has split (so lucky I noticed this) I spoke to the mechanic who services and fixes my cars (local guy) that knows some guys that can do this job, which as he stated is something that can be fixed, he estimates it will cost between 500 and 800, hence the huge reduction of 1K, happy to accept a reasonable offer, apart from that it runs perfectly. It would be so wrong of me not to mention it.
