Description
Bought this car for my late mother in November 2004 from the first owner.
2nd owner / registered keeper was my late mother and the 3rd owner / registered keeper is myself.
The car has full service history and comprehensive paperwork including every mot certificate.
A well serviced and cared for vehicle.
It has received a complete engine rebuild in October 2023 only after a cylinder head weeping coolant at the rear. I decided the easiest way was to remove the engine and make it bomb proof and attend to both head gaskets, so I stripped the complete engine and fitted new main bearings with a balanced crank, pistons and liners. All seals, chains, tappets, valves checked and replaced where needed.
New coolant hoses, radiator, thermostat and new improved heater core and matrix seals replaced at same time.
Further was the removal and replacement of the Air suspension springs which were showing cracks in the rubber.
Along the way the brake caliper's, discs and hoses replaced along with necessary brake pipes.
Recently the front torsion arm bushes and bolts have been replaced.
There is as mentioned extensive service sheets documenting the works in the service file.
The car completed a satisfactory run to Germany and back faultlessly.
The vehicle is also ULEZ exempt.
Clean MOT to 16th October 2025.
Bodywork is very good with no signs of corrossion. Only damage is where my mother reversed very gently into a bollard which the rear bumper rubs the tailgate slightly and could do with a slight pull to straighten the bumper.
