Description

I am looking to sell my 1972 mg midget rwa. Not sure on the mileage as speedo changed but we think around 98000. This comes with boxes of spares. There is also a complete car cover, roof down cover that covers the seats etc and a roof cover to cover the roof when down. There are folders of bits purchased and when and where plus other folders of info all created by the chap i brought it off. when i purchased it earlier this year the info the chap gave me is as follows: All the metal work/paint work had been done and it's runs. I have spent a lot of money on this car (a lot). I've got paper work and info of whats been done to this car and all the invoices. I purchased it in 2019 as a nuts and bolts restoration but spent most of the lock down on the body work. Then spent some time replacing the shock absorbers and brakes. I've put this list together of what's been done: New front wings from a 1500 Doors re skinned New a posts inner & outer New windscreen scuttle New drs side w/screen brkt New footwell panels L&R New passenger side B post Exchange shock absorbers New complete brake system New clutch master & Slave cylinders. New flexible master to slave pipe ( replacing the copper pipe) New clutch bleed pipe allowing clutch bleed from under the bonnet. New electronic ignition system. New water pump New electric fan Re worked dashboard New oil/water temp gauge New fuse box New carpets and insulation New interior panels Professional repaint using 2pac. Lots of sundries to many to recount but the cost adds up. The oil pressure is very good and the cooling is excellent with the new electric fan, I have fitted an override switch for when your in traffic. I've kept all the old nuts and bolts (replaced by new ones) they will be useful as they are not metric sizes. Rectangle side lights were std but the beehive ones are my choice, it's just the indicator, the side light is in the headlights. There are folders showing the historical invoices and the ones I've spent also a partial history of the car. It's not required but it's shows it's last MOT. It needs one chrome strip on drivers side. I have a lot of parts that I replaced but are still useable You can have these as well. Track rod ends, one has a tear in the rubber gator, I have a new set. The under bonnet area needs a little tidy with the electrical cables and the new clutch pipes located properly and secured. More info in the pictures
