This stunning Golf R is a very impressive car - at low rev's, low speed it's a five door auto for transporting the family. At high rev's and in 'Race 'mode it's a track eating monster! The 0 to 60 time of under 5 seconds doesn't really do the car justice - what's most impressive is how stable and 'solid' it feels when accelerating quickly. There is no torque steer, no drama - except the roar from the four tailpipes - and yet it takes off from a standstill like a rocket!
