Description

Possibly one of the best examples we have seen in a long time, this rare to find SVX was first registered in May 2009 this pristine Defender SVX is number 289 of the 300 units produced to celebrate 60 years of the iconic Defender in its various guises. It is believed that around 80 were produced in Soft Top form so this is quite a rare Defender. Finished in Santorini Black the only colour option for the SVX, this under 48,000 mile two-owner example has been with its most recent keeper since 2013. Powered by a 2.4-litre TDCI inline-four, it delivers around 120bhp to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Currently fitted with Sawtooth Alloys although these can be exchanged for standard if required at no extra charge. The SVX features a bespoke fascia for the grille and headlight clusters, an external roll cage, and satin ‘60 Years’ graphics. The SVX models also have a revised suspension setup, and the cabin is equipped with heated Black half leather Recaro seats, air-conditioning, and heated front and rear screens. An Allistart uprated intercooler has been installed, as well as an oil catch can with rubber hoses, remote control spotlights, light guards, mud flaps, an alloy fuel filter cap, a NAS-style rear step, KBX vents, and front bumper with integrated LED lights.Other equipment includes side steps and a Clarion stereo. The service history shows Main Dealer (Stratstone) to 36,500 miles in and then last serviced in February 2024 at 47,549 miles which included changing the brake fluid and battery and in May 2024 the clutch master and slave cylinders, adaptor, valve and brake fluid. To be supplied inspected with a fresh Mot at sale and three months warranty. The Defender 90 SVX is a sought-after, limited-edition example of the automotive design icon, and an exceptionally rare sight on UK roads.
