Hello and welcome to the sale of my 2003 Land Rover Discovery 2 td5 with 7 seats. Forced sale, the car has performed without fault in my ownership. The car has covered just over 186,000 miles so far. This is the facelift version and is equipped with the 5 speed manual gearbox and has MOT until February 2026. The high and low range functions perfectly. The car comes with 2 keys and has been kept and serviced meticulously by the previous owners, of which there are only 4. Unfortunately, the service history etc, has been lost. Mechanically, the Discovery is very good, it starts first time without hesitation. The injector loom has recently been replaced. It has also had a recent clutch kit & DMF fitted as well as Terrafirma shocks and springs all round. Discs and pads have been recently changed too. The discs have been upgraded to the drilled and grooved type. The Discovery also benefits from a straight through exhaust, which sounds great but is not too loud, and an EGR delete. The original Land Rover tool kit is present, as too is the bottle jack in the engine bay. The condition of the exterior of the car is in keeping with the age and mileage, with a few scrapes and dents. But overall is very presentable for the type of car this is. The rear windows are tinted which contributes nicely to the overall appearance of the vehicle. The rare, Java black paint work cleans up quite well but would benefit from a polish. The Discovery comes fitted with a Terrefirma snorkel as well as a full set of genuine Land Rover light guards all round. Also fitted is a genuine Nudge Bar with functioning lights, as well as side steps. All 5 factory alloys are in good condition and are fitted with a matching set of Kumho MT51 Road Venture tyres in 265/60/18 with plenty of life left. The spare is completely unused. The interior of the car, too, is in good overall condition. The car benefits from electric and heated, black leather seats in the front. The rear is also fitted with black leather seats that are all free of any rips or tears. There are a few marks but nothing major. The heater and the aircon work as intended, as do all the electric windows. The headlining has been replaced and is in great condition with no sagging. In keeping with the age of the car, there a few points to note: The front passenger electric seat doesn't work on the switch, however, there is a workaround for this. The drivers heated seat doesn't work.
