Top spec sport model with LSD, yellow Bilsteins from factory, BOSE, heated leather seats and matching hardtop from new. 3 keeper car. Loved, cherished and kept well maintained since me and my mate bought in 2021 as a shared weekend car. We are the only keepers aside from the lady who took delivery new in 2006. Car had over 5000 pounds spent on it in the last 3 years to make it mechanically sound. All 4 springs replaced with the Eibach 30mm drop ones to get rid of the factory SUV style ride height, undersills welded to sort out rust, trailing arms replaced etc among loads of other work. Most recent spend was with MX5 Restorer in Eastbourne this year at over 720 quid to replace the idler pulley assembly and belts, fit front caliper slider pins (pads and discs replaced all around in August 2024), replace thermostat, replace FL22 coolant, replace gearbox oil etc. Cosmetically the car shows its 110k miles, with the occasional stone chip and other paint imperfections, but is still in great condition and by no means ratty. Bootlid repainted and rust proofed by MX5 Restorer last year to address the common issue of bubbling paint around number plate lights. Interior is excellent without the usual bolster tearing and the car still has original factory overmats. A joyous piece of kit that follows the ethos of engaging, lightweight motoring and puts a smile on your face with every drive. I have driven cars at 100x the price where the gearshift and connection to the road didn't feel as sweet. Punters consider NC the least loved of all MX5 generations, but it has actual interior space, excellent comfort and better usability for its weight, compared to the other gen Miatas. Selling as unfortunately need a 4 seater now. Car is London ULEZ compliant.
