I have owned this Honda for 16 years and it has been a very reliable car. It has not had any major mechanical issues, and has been driven carefully. The 2L VTEC engine is superb and runs very well. The only downside is that the underside is starting to need some welding every other year or so, which is the reason for sale. It isn't too bad and is MOT'd till next year after having some welding in January. It's had the sills and rear arches done over recent years so it might not need any welding for some years, but I can't tell. Last year I replaced the radiator as it sprung a leak, and serviced the air conditioning replacing the condensor/drier so that works well. It also had a new oil sump, a new rear n/s brake caliper and a new wheel bearing. This year it has had new rear brake pads. The car comes with four very good Landsail tyres, and a very good Kenwood Bluetooth and DAB radio. Also included are some Thule roof bars and a tow bar. The tow bar is detachable but the mechanism has broken so it is rather stuck in now. It was only used for a bike rack. There are a few bodywork dents and scratches as I used to live on a narrow and busy road and parked cars regularly got hit, but as you can see from the photos, it still looks good. This would make a great, cheap car for someone looking for a bit of power with Honda reliability.
