Description

August 2008 Jaguar XK (X150) V8 4.2 convertible, Euro 4 emissions, with exceptionally low genuine mileage and full service history. In superb condition inside and out, complete with wind deflector and hard-wired battery conditioner, which has been used to keep the battery in tip-top condition through its winter lay-up. In recent years, I have followed MOT advisories to replace suspension parts and rubbers I bought this intending to keep it until I dropped off the perch, but unfortunately downsizing demands it is sold. (We went from a 3 bay garage with 50m drive, down to a much smaller suburban house). It is definitely worth a journey to view - I bought it from Cornwall and am from South Manchester - I welcome any inspection. This has been pictured on a private plate, which is being transferred to one of our other cars. Only 2 previous keepers before current owner Summer use only for last 12 years In current ownership since Jan 2013 Overwintered in heated garage Up to date service history Only 22,000 miles from new Advisory-free MOT until 30th October 2025 Bodywork wheels and interior reflect the limited use Two original keys Accompanied by old MOT certificates, invoices and V5 HPI clear - see attached document Inside and out, this car is clean and undamaged - a perfect summer car, which looks gorgeous and drives beautifully. It is already a classic - one to keep. This is what a well-known UK motoring magazine says about the car. "Engineers have found a brilliant balance with the Jaguar XK - it rides like a luxury car should, but attacks a twisty road like a sports car. With a low nose, pert tail and dramatic proportions, the XK is every inch the stunning Jaguar sports car. It's far better looking than a Mercedes SL and manages to cause as much of a stir as the significantly more expensive Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Plush is the best way to describe the inside. There's lots of room up front and a great driving position with steering and seats electrically adjustable. Every surface is covered in soft leather, quality wood or tough metal and there's loads of equipment with satellite-navigation, a six-CD in-dash changer, Bluetooth, dual-zone climate control and stability control as standard."
