Description
Owned for the last 3 years.
From the Nissan Leaf 40kw you can expect 120 - 140+ miles typically, and 95 -120+ miles in winter months, from a full charge. If the mileage works for your life style, this is an excellent 'bang for your buck' car. To cost of a full charge at home, x 39 by your KwH rate, typically 10 ish at day rate but as cheap as 3.00 if you acquire an EV tailored tariff.
This Teckna model is nicely spec'd, and the black roof on this one adds to the appeal in my opinion. The Leaf has surprising pace which will impress when called upon. Spacious cabin front & rear and one of the biggest boots you will find in a hatchback. The ability to have the windscreen defrosted and the cabin up to temperature in the winter before you even step out of the house is a treat. With heated seats, heated steering wheel, ease of driving and the quality of the Bose sound system, I have had no complaints towards the Leaf. The E brake facility is something you will no doubt learn very quickly to love - strange to adapt to one foot driving but becomes second nature in no time. Makes driving simpler. You can disable this at any time.
Car will be MOT'd for 12months+ and will be fully serviced (booked in for next week).
The EV battery is showing as the full 12 bars of health, and I can confirm that its' actual condition is 89.1% and it has had only 24 quick charges (QC's) in its' lifetime, as pic shows. The lesser the QC's the better the battery ages I believe. 'L2 charges' for anyone that is new to EV's is the lower kwH charging type, typically 7kw home chargers.
The tyres are all Goodyear EfficientGrip 2 with 6 - 7mm depth on all.
Car comes with 2 keys, 2 charging leads (the 3 pin plug version and the chademo type) and hopefully you've read the rest of the Teckna spec elsewhere. This one also has a spare space saver wheel. I don't think they all come with a spare wheel.
Inside is in excellent condition and the exterior scrubs up well on the whole. Please zoom in to fully understand the wear. I have captured pics of the rear bumper, an inherited scathing along with a blemish to windscreen and at front of roof (one pic). These haven't worsened during my ownership. Pics of wheels show the level of corrosion which is minimal. Happy hunting
