I bought in 2023,a 140k miles 1 owner car serviced by AutoLusso in Bournemouth.2023 MOT stated 140,471 mls. 2024 MOT 143,743 mls post fuel pump/sender replacement. A few months after the 2024 MOT the indicator dropped digits. Arriving at the most recent MOT in March 2025 distance logged as 13,711 km. Alfa mystery? I keep a manual tally on the mileage when refuelling. It's 153,711 mls, will rise in use. In my ownership it's had three services & more intense work ie a top end rebuild following head gasket failure in Dec 2023. Cam belt/pump/tensioners were done as part of 3 month maintenance stint with Garage 21 Ltd early 2024 inc top end rebuild to a very high standard plus other detailed work to ensure car would be in peak condition for years to come. Bills from Aug 2023 & Feb 2025 total 8023.53p. Radio works intermittently, usually when vehicle is at idle. I drove 1600 mls to France before Christmas, a great pleasure. Wizard back box adds a nice burble . I reset the counter every time I fill up so I know where I am with it and the fuel light also tells me when it's near time to fill up again. The car sailed through the recent MOT, only a NS front tyre inner tread advisory. 2x new matching tyres to go with the car on sale. Service history is present, all bills kept plus a detailed record from Autolusso to 2012. All electric windows work and aircon regassed since I've owned it. Electric seats work & it's generally a clean car. Experts have said "Overall, the car is in really good shape underneath - probably in the top 10% of all 166's we've seen". In addition "Possibly the best radiator mount on any 166!!!" Heater Matrix was done during engine rebuild. Any advisories mentioned on MOT's over last 3 years have been taken care of as per service history. Photos of essential and service maintenance done along with Autolusso's history available. Whatever car has needed/wanted it's had, a fresh MOT until March 2026 along with the documented evidence and the new owners due diligence should give peace of mind for the immediate future.
