Bought as a summer car a few years ago, but I'm now semi retired & having to downgrade to something cheaper! This is a low mileage example that has always had the '15second rule' applied when starting, with excellent Michelin cross climate tyres. The car also has the essential Milltek exhaust (resonated version so not loud) that doesn't add any power but unleashes the true sound of the V8 which is the main reason for having one of these in the summer with the hood down. Don't expect this to be a particularly fast car as they are heavy & being normally aspirated it is all about the old school motoring experience. The car will come with spares that were with the car when I bought it but not needed, so you'll get a full clutch kit including a dual mass flywheel and 3 coil packs. As a Club Audi committee member, this car has been well looked after and used for the occasional show. A full service has just been completed using Fuchs Titan race oil that I have always used. Common issue on these is rear broken springs, both have been replaced within the last 2 years as has the left electrical engine mount, starter motor, alternator and the auxiliary drive belt was replaced in 2023. The only downside is that the Air conditioning doesn't work & hasn't since buying the car but haven't seen the need for it on a convertible but will need addressing by the new owner for the car to be 100% perfect and despite trying on 4 occasions to get a working alarm horn module I haven't been successful in sourcing one. This car also comes with the essential and powerful heated seats so you can drive with the hood down in colder sunny weather which is also a great experience! There is also a parrot mobile phone interface that works, though not the easiest to operate when driving and a multi media interface (shown in pics) that I have never used but could be useful if you have the necessary hardware...!You don't buy this for it's mpg but for information purposes, I average 22mpg, my wife 27mpg. But have some fun enjoying the exhaust note and engine to the full and you will be down to 15mpg pretty quickly ;). As we only taxed the car for 6-7 months a year the tax hasn't really bothered us as has worked out at 200 a year (just about to go up again in April). Standard with these cars is the electric seats with electric headrest too, heated mirrors and full leather interior. The private plate will also come with the car.
