Welcome to the sale of my mother's Volvo V40 Cross country. This car has been in my mothers ownership since the car was in and round 6 months old. Purchased from a local main Volvo dealer. You may or may not already know that this is the D4 190 engine. This engine very rarely comes up for sale and is very rare. When looking to purchase this vehicle we actually waited until a v40 came up for sale with this engine variant and it just so happened to be for sale at our local dealer.. meant to be! The reason for wanting this engine was after researching online it was clearly the engine to have returning fantastic performance and mpg (over 70mpg on a run). This car has wanted for absolutely nothing. It has been cared for and maintained as if it was a Ferrari. Full Volvo service history . Recently serviced at Volvo within the last 2 weeks so it is ready to go. I would say at least 70% of its life has been on a motorway so you have absolutely no worries about the DPF. Cosmetically the car is great. No scuffs or scrapes. Obviously there is going to be the odd age related marks so please don't be expecting a new car. The interior is perfect the back seats have had people sat in them probably 10-15 times. We have family in the motor trade and they have stated this car would be going for sale on a Volvo forecourt at 12,995. But why buy from a dealer when other than a service book you know nothing about the car? Speak to the people who own it! It was a must for my mother to have the car serviced before it went to its new owner so I think that tells you everything you need to know. The mileage will rise slightly as although there is another car on the drive my mum still wants to make the most of ownership. Any questions feel free to ask. No time wasters please Thanks
