Description

This is a 2001 model imported to the UK in 2005, I'm only the third owner having owned since Aug 2011. Now in my 40s I'm looking for a softer sports car rather than the raw race feel that I've loved for so long. This has been such a reliable and enjoyable car with 0 breakdowns or accidents. Cheap to run and easy to service I've serviced the car every year myself with certain jobs done by a garage. Every bit of work is documented with the date and mileage as well as the accompanying receipt. This is the full C pack model which includes engine start button, electric folding mirrors, rear wiper and rear tinted windows. Blue OEM mats and seats. Includes a Kenwood screen with integrated front dash cam, a rear view camera, GPS, DAB, wireless Android Auto .Every mod I've researched and reviewed work by other owners so they're carefully selected to maintain the best characteristics of the car. This makes for a one of a kind DC5 with the following mods and fully MOT compliant; Tegiwa M Induction RBC Inlet Manifold SARD sports cat converter Kakimoto Regu R06&R cat back exhaust K100 mapped to above spec (Torque Developments International) Eibach camber bolts and arms Yellow speed dynamic sport coilovers Tegiwa Extended Ball Joints Front Mugen Lower Control Arm Bushings Front Geometry to above spec (Torque Developments International) DBA 4000 front brake disks Goodridge brake lines Ferodo DS2500 brake pads front Ferodo DS brake pads rear Michelin Pilot Sport 5 Tyres Front PS4 on Back Revo Tehnica Gen 3 Short Shifter Sigma S30 Thatcham Approved Cat 1 Alarm/Immobiliser Alloy wheels powder coated in shadow chrome I've had the underseal done in 2018 and again in Feb 24, the last one included new rear arches due to a common issue where water gets inside the double skin and causes rust from inside. The new arches are fully sealed so no rust inside and out with full photos of the work and the arches guaranteed until Feb 27. The only 1 bit of rust we found was on the very tip of the bonnet so there's a little spot of blistering of paint shown in the photos. Other minor things are a small scuff of the paint on the rear bumper, one alloy scuff, the clamp for the spare wheel broke off so the wheel just sits but doesn't move much anyway, the passenger side door lock rod can at times drop so you have to unlock again to open it (I got a replacement lock but it hasn't been doing it lately so not replaced it). Everything from a driving perspective is in perfect working order.
