Description

We've had this car since 2020 and it's been our trusty family wagon since then. With a third child on the way we have had to get something bigger, so a reluctant sale - it's been such a great car! It was on just over 20k miles when we bought it and it's just about to hit 70k - it's been serviced at a local Mercedes specialist in that time (as well as one service done at home), with the most recent major service completed last month. This service included oil, oil filter, cabin filter, fuel filter, full auto gearbox service (fluids and filters), brake fluids, full set of new brake pads and brake discs all round, costing 1600 pounds - so at least the new owner can sleep easy for years to come! It handles very well for an estate car, gets great mpg, has cruise control, heated seats, isofix in the rear, reverse camera and can even parallel park itself (I've found this more fun than I perhaps should have). When the seats are folded down the boot is cavernous. It looks fantastic too in the sunlight with the blue metallic paint - a perfect all rounder (did I mention tax is 35 quid a year too?). So what are the negatives I hear you ask? Well, as it nears its 10th birthday you can notice it has some small paint imperfections from disagreements with stones in the past, and the wheels aren't perfect. The bolster on the drivers seat is also worn which seems to be a common issue with these (courtesy car from the service had the same issue at any rate). All in all, nothing out of the ordinary for a car of its age and mileage, certainly well looked after mechanically and a great place to be sat whether cruising on the motorway or heading through the lanes.
