Description
Selling our great little Fabia VRS. We've owned the car since December 2019 and has been my wife's main car since about 2021, occasionally still stolen by me as very enjoyable to drive while still getting good MPG (usually about 37mpg for rural commuting with some town driving).
Later model so has the revised CHTE engine I believe but still uses a little oil, though having had performance Hondas going back many years it's expected of an engine this small doing the performance it does. Previous owner replaced the turbo some time before we got it at around 70,000 miles.
In the time we've owned it it's had a new battery, and a single spark plug needed changing and the front brakes & disks were replaced. It was recently checked for an oil leak picked up on the MOT however none was found and was most likely spillage from a top-up.
Serviced at Dorchester Motor Company regularly while we've owned it, except for the last but one service which I did myself on the driveway and kept no record of it (hence partial service history)
Good bits -
Amazing performance considering it's a small Skoda
Sounds way better than it has any right to
Parking sensors
Sat-nav unit (though no bluetooth)
Everything works as it should do
Bad bits -
Stone chips at the front, especially at the bottom of the front bumper, some of these are showing rust (see pics)
Up close paint shows swirl marks and there is a nice scratch on the nearside passenger door from someone in a supermarket car park (they weren't kind enough to leave a note)
Wheels could do with a good refurb as they have plenty of kerb marks and some oxidation on the beads
Expected wear to interior for a car of this age & mileage but in reasonably good condition
Only selling as my wife has now moved to an EV since she does a lot of town driving, short trips and dislikes going to the petrol station.
Open to offers, great little automatic hot hatch that surprises me every time I hop into it.
