Description

New MOT valid for more than a year. As registered before 2017, this car will be still cheap to tax :-). Mileage will likely go higher as it is not available before mid of Easter term break. Fantastic Low Milage Model S 85! Genuinely the best car I've ever owned and I'm sad to part with it. Still has better specs than some brand new EV's, it charges faster, goes further and has access to the supercharger network! The extra kids seats in the boot (Trunk Elon) are a lifesaver and a godsend to anyone with a young family! This is a really rare upgrade and was very expensive new so wasn't often selected -the car has additional structural upgrades done in the factory to protect the rear and so this cannot be added afterwards. Previous owner brought the car used from tesla so it does not have free supercharging but as far as I'm concerned that's a unicorn feature that will cost you more in the end -the incentive to hammer the battery is all too much when its free! Instead, this came with a year full warranty which previous owner used to get tesla to sort any issues out on the car for free - the sunroof was sticking so they put a new mechanism in, the rear lights were all fogged up (a common issue on model s of this age) so they changed them all and the rubbers in the doors were also replaced. Motor was already swapped by Tesla before I purchased this car. The original 8 year battery and motor warranty has just expired, but the battery is sound (still shows 220 miles on a full charge, and hits maximum 120KW speed during supercharging). The car has just sailed through the MOT with new MOT valid for more than a year. The paintwork is great, the wheels are also good with a few bits of kerb rash (took me a while to get used to driving a car this wide) and what you would normally expect to find on a family workhorse - however, she is still extremely luxurious and looks stunning inside and out. Black leather seats still look great and there is so much utility especially with these original 85 models having a much bigger frunk than the D's they were replaced with. In terms of performance, this really is super car quality at ford focus! And the added benefit of 7 seats, a massive frunk and all the extra space inside speaks for itself! I haven't mentioned the massive touch screen, air suspension and autopilot! Once you've used air suspension and autopilot you wont want a car without them!
