Description
A great example of a very rare Peugeot 406 executive, in excellent condition, good enough to be a collectors item. with luxury wood and leather interior, including heated and electric seats. This is my first car, which I've owned for around 9 months, and had bought from the previous owner who had bought from new. I was able to drive it over the summer, but heading to university in September has meant it's been put to one side, and feels like it'd be better off in someone else's hands. It's got just under 43000 miles on the clock only, which shows. Almost everything works with little to no faults. The electrics are great, with all appliances operating well, including the original stereo. The body is in immaculate condition, ignoring some minor scrapes on the mirrors, with no rust or paint chipping. It also had brand new tires fitted when I purchased it, at 40000 miles, as well as a brand new spare tyre. When I got it the hand-break was acting up slightly, but I got that fixed. I noticed there was slight leaking issue in the boot, which I seemed to have fixed by working on the seals by the break light. The few main small issues include: a speedo that's sticky from time to time, the cable connecting the battery has a tendency to come loose every now and again after I've parked up, and I've had trouble getting the cd player to work, but have always been content with my cassettes so haven't invested much in getting it fixed. These aren't major faults so I presume they'd be only a quick fix if you got onto it. It comes with 2 keys, a Haynes manual, as well as two seat covers. I'm very fond of this car and enjoy driving it, as well as making sure to have taken good care of it while I've owned it. It passed its MOT just before I bought it, so it's got a few months before that's due.
