Description
Due to relocating overseas I'm reluctantly selling my ultimate (and rare spec) all-round daily driver - "Audrey".
Rare Manual 3.0TDI in an even rarer and arguably the best colour - Midnight Blue - which is in good condition for the age and still has a deep glossy finish and vibrant flake due to careful polishing and ceramic coating.
A real head-turner! Some typical age-related marks but from the kerb she looks great and gets a lot of compliments. The glossy paint, stance, and subtle OEM+ mods look really smart.
I've cared for "Audrey" lovingly for the last 5 years, covering 40k miles in that time (fully serviced every 5-7k miles).
I've added some tasteful modifications for an OEM+ look - unlike some of the kevved-up examples out there.
- ST (KW) Coilovers and 20/15mm spacers (she sits really nice).
- Carbon boot lip spolier, RS5 style front grill and fog grills, carbon exhaust tips, clear glass.
The car also has all the "Stage 1" performance mods - DPF delete (Darkside 3in DP) EGR & Swirl Flaps delete, K&N filter, backbox delete and Stage 1 tune - she pulls hard and sounds fantastic (very Nissan GTR). This is a well sorted car with nothing left to do to do unless you want to go all out and spend another 5k on Stage 2 mods and beyond.
Good bits:
- 4 brand new tyres (on immaculate refurbished and rare Y-Spoke 19in wheels)
- Serviced religiously during my 40k miles ownership with no expense spared.
- 2 x new front wheel bearings and driveshafts (inc. replacement ABS sensors)
- Private plate 'A5 FVX' included in sale
Bad bits:
- Intermittent fault with the passenger door handle - only started doing it in during the latest cold snap so might clear up with the warmer weather.
- Intermittent parking brake malfunction - gets stuck on but will release with a stop/start.
Overall, it's hard to think of a better all-rounder for the money.
Fast, reliable, economical (45+mpg) and still looks fantastic - a really special car that most people think is much 'posher' than it's worth!
I'll be sad to see her go but would appreciate another enthusiast taking her on as she still has plenty more life in her and is a great bargain for those that know how good these MK.1 3.0TDI's are. They really don't make them like this anymore!
In no great rush to sell so no silly offers or test pilots please.
Ideally looking to sell to a fellow enthusiast who knows these cars and values the rarity of the spec, the enhancements, and the condition.
