Description

2000 Discovery td5 es in Epsom green with full Bahama Beige leather interior. Bought 7 years ago to use as a daily commute and workhorse. Originally a 7 seater, i removed the rear boot seats and fitted the matching storage bins in the boot as this better suited my needs. The seats, panels and all fittings are here to go with the car should you choose to refit them. I also had the air suspension converted to springs, uprated brake discs all round and a set of 5 19" Range Rover alloys. also replaced in my time, radiator, intercooler, trans oil cooler and pipes, front and rear washer jets and pipes , fuel pump, ace pump, alternator, battery, front shocks and mounts, steering arm, brake pipes, rear calipers, new powerfold mirrors, rear prop donut, watts linkage, abs shuttle valve, rear diff seals, oil pressure regulator, cast heater pipe, rear mud flaps and brackets plus much more. Has had a full engine rebuild in Dec 23' at 191603 miles following an oil pump failure, so although the current mileage is showing 199300 this engine has not even done 8k miles. All new timing chain guides and tensioners, rings, shells, all seals and gaskets, head skimmed and pressure tested, injector harness, water pump, thermostat glow plugs. Since the engine rebuild there has also been a complete new front prop fitted, upper tailgate hinge and 4 brand new tyres fitted. The auto gearbox was changed a while back with a unit from a car that had only covered 74k miles. There is so much history with this car for the work i have had done during my time, too much to list with it see image... .The car runs and drives very well, no smoke, knocks, bangs or whines, gearbox is smooth and the brakes are excellent. Bodywork is as i found the car, i have not spent 7 years trying to make it all shiny. There are many battle scars from the cars previous life, i have lived with these and they have not bothered me, or worsened, i have always kept the car clean, driven and treated it with respect. Interior is in good shape, marks here and there, usual wear on the side of the drivers sear edge, but carpets, door cards, roof lining are good. There is a full set of genuine rubber floor mats along with a boot liner. There is a mountain of spare parts, all good and useable, to go with the car as well. Not so good bits: Neither sunroofs open {motors} Drivers footwell is wet Tint film on n/s/r door is torn. Mot til Feb 26, two keys, v5 and loads of history and parts. Reg number will be changed.
