A much loved car with a nice combination of well-cared-for interior and mechanicals with a uniquely 'patinated' exterior. Bought from a family friend as a stop-gap between cars, the previous owner had it for 10+ years. The interior is nice and clean with very little wear for the age. It has been routinely serviced (last 21/1/24) but could do with an oil and filter change. MOT is due 26/6/25. There are lots of receipts for various works including recent drop links and coil spring and does drive nicely (for a Golf). The exterior is another matter. I think two of the doors might be mark and blemish free. Most panels have some 'character' and the lacquer on the bonnet has, for some reason, come off. Nonetheless there is minimal corrosion and if you're not bothered about cosmetics, or fancy spending a bit of time making it straight, it's not the end of the world. Would make a great car for leaving at the station or the pub or a first car to learn to drive in.
