Description
When the ad says 'beaten up BMW' it's just had its fair share of wear and tear.
I have owned this car since October 2019 from 104,500 miles to 195,500 miles. Most of those miles have been motorway miles and the engine has been solid over my ownership.
This has been a brilliant family car although there has been some 'slight' wear and tear. I will be as open and honest as I can be, so please read the full advert.
The good points!
- Engine has been pretty faultless over my ownership
- Spacious and comfortable family car
- Wheel locking nut
- Spare tyre and tyre changing kit
- Leather seats good condition for age
- HPI Clear - No write offs
- MOT until Sept 2025
- Last full service in Feb 2024
- Approx half a tank of diesel left in it
- Reason for selling is due to getting another car
The not so good bits (PLEASE READ!)
- Power steering has finally gone. A slow decline and I was told this was due to power steering fluid leak
- 2 x chips in windscreen. Both chips not obscuring drivers view (has passed MOT)
- Only 1 key - battery/central locking button not working
- Lock on drivers door faulty. However you can still securely lock all doors of the car when leaving (in a unique way!)
- Rear near side passenger seat belt a little sticky. Still works but tricky getting it in place
- Bald tyre - front near side
- Likely a slow puncture on rear drivers side tyre
- A few rust spots - most around the front grill
- Both wing mirrors secured with duct tape (separate incidents!)
- There are likely a few more minor cosmetic issues which I can't recall
This may be better suited for someone who is familiar with cars and can easily/cheaply fix some of these issues.
Price is subjective - I think it's worth what I'm asking, but I'm open to hearing offers - let's talk
