Benefiting from it's seamless and economic eight speed gearbox, the car is an absolute dream to drive. I defy you to find a lower mileage one at this age. The Discovery, on a recent trip to the south of France, was in it's element, the eight speed transmission making long distance cruising both economical and effortless. In approximately 2019 the underside front cradle of the car was damaged, resulting in a replacement being fitted. A simple bolt off, bolt on procedure. Despite this being an easy repair, the car was still declared a category 'S'. The subsequent high standard of repair belies any evidence and passed with flying colours the stringent inspection carried out by Grange Land Rover upon its most recent service with them.
