This Mercedes S280 W140 is a beauty if you know about these W140s, They're legendary cars, built to last with no planned obsolescence. It's been well-maintained, with a clean underbody and a protective layer of WD-40. It's surprisingly well-preserved for its age, but it does need a new NS/R wheel arch liner as the current one is cracked. There are a few quirks, like the sunroof not working and the soft close feature (I'm not sure if this model came with it). The ignition barrel is worn out, so it can be a bit tricky to use, but it's also a fun learning experience. The remote central locking doesn't work from the key, but it does lock from the inside. That's what I've found so far. I'll will run it through MOT for the next owner. I've already replaced the brake pads and cleaned and checked the brake discs.
