Description

This is a M3 you can use and enjoy as everything works, there are no warning lights and no issues I am aware of. It's not a "show queen" but it has not been abused either, in fact it has service history from new. Whilst it's had a few owners overall, since 2007 there has just been 3 and one of them owned the car for over 10 years. The history file that comes with the car is full of information about it and includes its original books, sat nav disc, Tracker information, a copy, bar one of every MOT issued including its first one and a comprehensive invoice trail starting from 2010 when the previous owner acquired YF51 JFK from dealer Sam Jordan Cars. My friend and current owner, Ian (I am helping sell his M3 as his work commitments currently mean he cannot afford the time to show the car, but I can) bought this M3 on the 4th August 2021 the car having now covered 135,000 miles. During Ian's ownership he has had it maintained and inspected by his local BMW main dealer. BMW have replaced the injectors and overhauled the prop shaft. There are a number of invoices from BMW that total nearly 4000. The battery has been changed and the air con recharged. The picture give a fair feel for the cars lovely kerb presence they are perhaps a little flattering in places, however. The paintwork on the whole is good and shows well and it has a deep lustre to it but it's not perfect, it does have some signs age and use. There are a few stone chips to the bonnet and to the front bumper area and the odd blemish to found here and there. Common to E46 M3's is corrosion to the wheel arches. This one is ok with just the OSF wing having a little to it, the NSF and OSR having a very small bit of crazing and the NSR none at all. None of this is obvious or unsightly but may be worth attending to at some point in the future. I found one bit of corrosion in an odd place just on the top of the driver's sill below the door only a relatively small blister but it's there. Whilst there is an invoice for 675 from as recently as 2020 for refurbishing all the wheels, in places the lacquer on them has lifted. The interior overall is lovely. A few signs of wear but not much. There is a little 1 to 2 inches of stitching on the driver's side bolster coming undone. The hood is in good condition and watertight. The electric mechanism works as it should. Along with the aforementioned comprehensive history file YF51 JFK comes with a wind deflector, 2 keys and a current V5C logbook.
