1997 TVR Chimaera 450 Power Steering 78k miles LOTS of recent work Recent Outriggers I bought my TVR this time last year, it had been stood in a dry barn for many years until mid 2023, when it was bought by the previous keeper and he spent many 000's recommissioning it. I bought it as a project but in reality it just needed a little tidying up and the paintwork isn't bad but not perfect. In the mean-time I started a TVR specialist workshop and I just don't get many opportunities to drive it! It still looks great and is super solid and reliable - I wouldn't hesitate jumping in and driving this anywhere. I work on TVR's every day and I can confidently say, whilst not concours - this is a good one. It drives incredibly well, stops much better than a standard car, the diff is totally quiet and it pulls strongly. Recent works (Since 2023)- -Outriggers changed -ALL new wishbones and bushes -Gaz Gold Pro Suspension -Fuel hoses -12k (full) Service- incl. All fluids -4x Toyo T1S -Upgraded brakes -Clutch Master Cylinder -Carpets -Stainless Steel Dash Panel -Throttle Cable -Brake Lines -HT leads -Pioneer Bluetooth Stereo with JBL speakers. -Lots of other 'bits & bobs' -LH door release button -LH Door solenoid It had its last MOT under 1000 miles ago which it passed with no advisories. Due in July 2025. Overall I would say the car is 'Good' - Cosmetically the car is 'average', it still looks great as its silver (as you can see in the photos) but one day it would benefit from some paint. It would be a much more valuable car with this! The interior is superb with fresh carpet and a metal dash. There are only very minor signs of wear and much tidier than most TVRs of this age. The roof is also in good condition. I'm selling as I just don't get the chance to drive it and need to make way for a serious project currently being planned. As this is my personal car this is a private sale, however with a bit of warning I can show you under the car on my lift. As mentioned it would be a much more valuable car with improved paintwork, but it looks good as is. The car is very solid and ready to enjoy.
