This is my BMW 520d 2006. The car has one year MOT until March 2026. I owned the car since 2014. At least 100000 miles done on motorway long journeys between 2015 to 2019. If you check the mileage history online ( using free apps) you will see that I have not used this car much between 2022 until now as I was flying to work to Northern Ireland. The car interior in very good condition as you can see in the picture with no wear or rips. The car drive and I used it for motorway journeys recently between Manchester and Lancaster with no issues. There is some cosmetic wear on the body as seen in the pictures. The car has good 4 runflat tyres. The car still do around 34 MPG on the motorway. Having said all that, recently the car feel that it has some power loss on acceleration, but once it get to speed it is sailing through. The car has new battery about 1 month ago. The car has 3 spring coil replacement , has new crankshaft bully and serpentine belt. I have myself replaced the glow plugs and installed swirll flaps delet kit. I have maintained regular oil and oil filter change myself as I know this is critical for these BMW to go for more years to come. There is occasionally a knocking noise which is possibly from the recent advisory regarding rear suspension arm pin. I was planning on doing these advisors myself as the rear arm pin is just removing 2 bolts and putting a new one, however, on examination having removed the tyres is felt solid so I left it. Regarding the corrosion on brake pipe this is usually a generic comment by the examiner when the car is not washed recently. If you check the previous years MOTS, the front brake pipes were replaced previously. The timing chain can be easily seen through the oil cap opening and it feels solid with not slack. I suggest if someone is a good DIYer, the car can do with possibly injectors cleaning service, this possibly allow this car to do another 100000 before it is time for it to go to the scrap yards to evolve to an electrical car or possibly a fridge. This car is one of the best cars I ever owned, it took me from Manchester to Elgin in Scotland a return trip of 800 miles every weekend over 4 years come rain or shine with no hitch. The sat nav sometimes play up. 6cd changer. I am flexible with the asking price but please do not offer me the scrap value of this car which I can do myself. Car is at WA14 5NP, test drive welcome.
