Regrettably, I'm selling my pride and joy. This is a rare Manual gearbox 4.2 litre V8, modified in a unique way. I keep it immaculately clean and fuelled with premium unleaded almost always. It's an old school, raw driving experience with a phenomenal V8 sound, and manual gearbox. It has no driving modes, you simply get in and it is what it is, which I feel is dying out in the modern era for true petrol heads. The exhaust note is very meaty, and a real head turner under any throttle, but it doesn't drone unpleasantly. The exterior is generally in good condition, with your normal age related stone chips and imperfections for an 18 year old car. Likewise with the interior, there are no rips in the leather, just normal age-related scuffs and creases. It comes with the upgraded B&O sound system. The price has been listed with the following in mind. I believe in an up-front and honest listing, so these are the "issues": (1) The parking sensors don't work properly; they may need resetting or replacing. This hasn't been an issue for me as I park fine without them. (2) One of the air-con fan motors needs replacing. I have already bought this, and will give it for free. The air con works fine, but the faulty motor clicks when you turn up the temp on the passenger side. I just leave the passenger side on low and the clicking never happens; I haven't got around to replacing the motor. (3) Occasional steering creaking when manoeuvring at slow speed; as per the MOT advisory, one or two suspension bits are nearing replacement. I have knocked 500 pounds off to allow for this. (4) This model is pre-bluetooth, and the FM radio doesn't work; I listen to CDs or the V8. Selling as my puppy has grown and I need a larger car. Please contact with any questions. No swaps accepted.
