I have owned this car for nine years and it has been very dependable for getting between home and work. I need an automatic car now so this one has to go and whilst it may have been car of the year in 2007, this car is no longer going to win any beauty contests. Paint is peeling significantly on the bonnet, and it's got too many scrapes and imperfections to mention. However, I would love for it to have a last lease of life from a new owner rather than it going to scrap. I'm putting it through an MOT shortly and have no reason to think it will fail, so this will have a full 12 month MOT otherwise it won't be sold. The car does have an engine warning light, but its had that for about the last four years, this is caused by a faulty front oxygen sensor, the value of the car means that replacing that sensor is not economical but the engine is fine. The engine had a full overhaul in 2023 with the head gasket replaced so I believe the engine is in good shape for another couple of years. Battery replaced at that time too. One tyre has a slow puncture so I will also get that fixed or replaced should I find a buyer.
