A unique opportunity to purchase an overland/expedition prepared Defender 130. This was purchased by myself in November 2023 and has been refurbished and transformed into the sensational vehicle it is now at great expense. A lot of work was done to the chassis prior to the demountable camper pod being fitted, this included a new rear cross member, welding repairs to the chassis and a rear panel. New LED tail lights and headlights were fitted, 4 x new door cards, new clutch, new master cylinder, front and rear floor mats, alu gear knobs, full service, new tow bar, battery plus many minor parts replaced. 7000 spent and less than 500 miles since. The rear tent has only been used for a couple of nights and the front is unused. Simply unbolt the pod from the flat bed, raise the camper pod on the 4 out-rigger legs and drive away to use as a flat bed or drop side pick up! The body work is excellent for a 1999 Defender, the bottom of the doors have some rust holes as is usual, the bulkhead is good. Very powerful winch with remote cable. Loads of documentation including service history and old MOT's past and present to support the mileage. The TD5 engine runs and sounds great. Private plate is not included in the sale.
