For sale is my 2008 Audi R8 4.2L V8 manual in phantom black pearl & carbon side blades with just over 50k miles. I recently did an 800 mile road trip around Wales in this car, and it didn't miss a beat! I'm unfortunately selling this due to needing to put money into our house, and after the road trip felt like the right time. The paintwork is in good condition: it had a Gtechniq ceramic coating applied in July 2023, and since owning the car I've exclusively used Gtechniq cleaning products. There are a handful of age related marks: stone chips to the front bumper, and a couple of door dings. The carbon fibre side blades are in excellent condition, and the wheels & tyres are also in excellent condition. Additional extras: - Bang & Olufsen Sound System - Audi R8 bucket seats - Apple CarPlay (wired via USB connection & wireless) with an aftermarket head unit which makes a big difference using the car day to day - No magride suspension! This is an expensive item to replace at 2,000 GBP per corner, and frequently fail, so not having them is a big bonus - Front & rear parking cameras and rear parking sensors. To be transparent, in the past month the rear camera has been temperamental and works ~20% of the time. I believe this is simply a corroded connection as the camera works absolutely fine when it does work! This should be simple to look at in the next service. - Extended warranty through Warranty Solutions Group that is valid until 31/07/2026. It's the silver warranty with a claim limit of 3,000 GBP per claim - , with additional cover for: Flywheel inc. wear & tear, Injectors, Oil seals & Gaskets, Sensors, Steering locks & steering ECU. Note: this only covers failures and not wear & tear, with the exception of the flywheel. I can transfer this to a new owner at a cost of 25 GBP (I'm happy to cover this) Recent items: - Oct 2024: most recent service - Jul 2024: all 4 alloys refurbished & resprayed (GBP 560), and MOT passed with zero advisories - Feb 2024: brake pads & discs replaced on all 4 corners, handbrake pads replaced (GBP 4,500) - Oct 2023: 2 new rear tyres (Michelin PS4S, GBP 590) - Aug 2023: 2 new front tyres (Michelin PS4S, GBP 420) - Jul 2023: Gtechniq ceramic coating (GBP 720, 5 year guarantee) 3rd party inspections very much welcomed. Mileage will be increasing as the car is still in use.
