Lovely car that has served us extremely well for the last 15 years. We've had very few issues with it mechanically over the years - a new fuel pump and a new steering pump have been fitted but that's about it - and it's in overall excellent condition for its age. There are, however, a couple of issues with it which are listed below as we want to be totally up front and honest about everything - 1) The battery has a tendency to go flat if left undriven for about 4 days - we did get this checked out at the last MOT but the garage advised it was probably due to the fact that we do not drive it very often. It's a relatively new battery however, but it's all fine if you drive it every day or so. 2) Just lately the headlight high beam lights have started to come on randomly, no obvious clue why, usually turning them on and off tends to cure it. 3) The bonnet release cable may need attention/adjustment - sometimes it will not release very easily and you have to try it a few times or give the bonnet a tug to get it open. 4) The central locking works on the passenger door only, the driver's door requires the key to open.
